Smurfette, The Season’s New Face

Alice blue? Avatar blue? The fashion world has chosen Smurf blue this season.

Our lovely Smurfette has become the season’s new face: she’s in Marc Jacobs, she’s in Lanvin, she’s a Dolce & Gabbana chic, she’s a Louis Vuitton fashionista.

Can’t wait for more Smurf blue? The Smurfs 3D official tailor has been launched. Smurfs fans in Australia are expected to see the movie in September.

Lily Allen In Design: Lucy In Disguise

In 2010, Lily Allen and her half-sister Sarah Owen opened a vintage clothing boutique in London, the boutique was named after an old romance novel Lucy In Disguise. As the co-founders of the brand, Allen and Owen aim to make vintage style attainable to everyone. Recently, a new line called The Collection has been added to the young brand, together with the opening of Lucy In Disguise online shop. The new collection was created by the two sisters. Inspired by vintage clothing, The Collection features a sexy, sophisticated and glamorous retro style with a hint of boho flare.

Lucy In Disguise’s online shop is stylish and playful, the new line is a small collection, though. I already have my eyes on the little black dress Jitterbug. It’s very 50s to me and I always want a full skirt dress.

A Takashi Murakami Winter/Summer for Google

Haven’t seen Google’s homepage today? Hurry up, a Takashi Murakami surprise’s waiting for you! The search giant’s celebrating Winter Solstice with the Southern Hemisphere, and of course, people locate at the northern half  will see a Summer Solstice-themed homepage. The talented Japanese artist’s artwork has inspired the world for decades and he’s also known as the creator of Louis Vuitton Monogram Multicolore Collection. I’m a Louis Vuitton fan, and Monogram Multicolore was the first LV I’ve ever had. All I want to say is, ‘Google and Mr. Murakami, you’ve made my day.’
