Ok, I was thinking doing a shoe edit on spring runway for a while, this really took me some time. Usually, I get more excited about fall/winter collections than spring/summer ones. But, this time, I found myself so attracted to almost all the shoe designs appeared on the runway. Anyways, here are the spring shoe trends to share with you guys :).
The biggest hit this season is the caged and bandaged heels-either they are chunky-heeled loafers or high-heeled bootie sandals, (Balenciaga, Balmain, Oscar de la Renta, ect.) The other trend is pumps with straps- morelike an alternation to the bandaged shoes, pumps with ankle straps or multi-straps have gained more popularity than ever (Haider Ackermann, Roberto Cavalli, Gucci). If anyone still trying to locate Stella McCartney’s holographic pumps from last season, here’s the good news-more holographic design for spring from Christian Dior, Rodarte, Lanvin, with an exotic twist. Last but not least is my favourtie style this season- the gladiator boots-the boots have updated to knee high, come with high heels or wedges, and finish with a military chic touch.
Enjoy the amazing spring runway shoes:

The biggest hit this summer? Black! Still! Not a long time ago, I wrote a post Never a winter without black. Yes, black was quite a trend on fall 2012 runway. When I finally moved onto write spring trends, I was surprised. Firstly, summer breezes slowly on the runway, almost too slow. We can still find lots of leather jackets, maxi coats, over-the-knee boots,…, again, isn’t it always on spring runway. Secondly, black hit the runway, heavily. It’s like a big fashion party, and the dress code is-black only. If you are a lover of black, now is the time to work the black magic.
Here are summer’s biggest hit, enjoy:
