Runway Trend: Fur Love

This fall, runway marks the return of fur- the 20s’ glamour, and, a modern world elegance with a chic twist. We’ve seen full length fur coats on Louis Vuitton runway which brings back a 20s’ Hollywood film star, the same we saw on Ralph Lauren and Nina Ricci runways. Need an instant edgy update? A short fur coat or a fur vest will do. On Altuzarra, Fendi, Dries Van Noten runways, a piece of fur gives the sleek urban style a chic turn. Silk and chiffon always bring out the romantic side in fur, seek the inspirations from Valentino, Lanvin, Diane von Furstenberg runways. Lastly, it’s all about how you like it :).

At-home parties? Make it fancy with fall’s latest dressing gowns and silk pyjamas. Designers make a stylish touch to your (at-home) party dresses- floral printed silk PJs, sequinned nighties and laced gowns. PJs best friend? Oversized coat, no doubt! Spring Fashion: The Shoe Edit

Ok, I was thinking doing a shoe edit on spring runway for a while, this really took me some time. Usually, I get more excited about fall/winter collections than spring/summer ones. But, this time, I found myself so attracted to almost all the shoe designs appeared on the runway. Anyways, here are the spring shoe trends to share with you guys :).

The biggest hit this season is the caged and bandaged heels-either they are chunky-heeled loafers or high-heeled bootie sandals, (Balenciaga, Balmain, Oscar de la Renta, ect.) The other trend is pumps with straps- morelike an alternation to the bandaged shoes, pumps with ankle straps or multi-straps have gained more popularity than ever (Haider Ackermann, Roberto Cavalli, Gucci). If anyone still trying to locate Stella McCartney’s holographic pumps from last season, here’s the good news-more holographic design for spring from Christian Dior, Rodarte, Lanvin, with an exotic twist. Last but not least is my favourtie style this season- the gladiator boots-the boots have updated to knee high, come with high heels or wedges, and finish with a military chic touch.
