Runway Trend: Hello Summer, Hello Yellow

Yellow is such a happy colour- it’s vibrant, playful and exciting. This season, the striking yellow certainly lightened up the spring runway. And how to wear yellow? Rule No.1-keep it simple with only the anckle-strapped sandals (as seen on Christian Dior, Lanvin runways). No. 2- Try it the bold way with matching colour statement jewellery (as on Balmain, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana runways). No. 3- look chic with head-to-toe yellow (as on Akris, Louis Vuitton and Moschino runways).

Spring Trend: A Flower Shower

Spring blossoms have had a cool update on the 2013 runway. Dark colours have taken the central stage (as seen on Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Giorgio Armani runways) while soft shades proved to work better with heave metals (as seen on Chanel and Isabel Marant girls). Oriental influence is another ‘it’ thing- silk, large-scaled floral prints will take your look one step closer to spring (as seen on Mulberry, Etro and Jean Paul Gaultier runways).
